<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent video that a user does not desire from being displayed. <P>SOLUTION: A projector is connected to a document camera via a USB cable. The user moves an arm in the document camera for switching between a photographing state and a non-photographing state. An arm opening and closing detection unit detects a state of the arm, and the projector acquires the detection result (S110).
