<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locomotive capable of protecting a device from dust while simplifying operation on a body underframe. <P>SOLUTION: A power conversion unit 4 includes an inverter, a converter, a controller and the like which are received in a box-shaped casing having six surfaces as a unit. A storage unit 5 includes a storage battery, a storage battery controller and the like which are received in a box-shaped casing having six surfaces as a unit. A cockpit 6 includes an operation device received in a box-shaped casing having six surfaces. A power generation unit 7 includes a main generator, a radiator and the like which are received in a box-shaped casing having six surfaces as a unit.
