<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact tool which achieves prolongation of life of a speed reduction gear mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: An inner cover 21 has a cup-like shape having an opening at a front side and a through-hole through which a rotating shaft of a motor is passed to a rear side. A hammer case 7 has a cup-like shape having at the rear side an opening that is suitable for the opening of the inner cover 21 and at the front side a through-hole through which an anvil 61 is passed. The inner cover 21 and the hammer case 7 are joined to allow mutual openings to be opposite with each other. The inner cover 21 has an inner diameter part with a small diameter holding a bearing means 16b of a first speed reduction mechanism, an inner diameter part with a middle diameter fixing the ring gear 28 of the first speed reduction mechanism, and an inner diameter part with a large diameter fixing a ring gear 40 of a second speed reduction mechanism. A detent means for blocking the rotation of the ring gear of the second speed reduction mechanism is formed at the inner diameter part with the large diameter, and the detent means is buffered by an elastic body 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
