摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for boring into a polygon shape that easily boring of a work into a polygonal cross-sectional shape and reduces the machining time. SOLUTION: In the device, a through-hole 12 is formed in an eccentric sleeve 16 at a position deviated by distance h from the rotational center A-A thereof. A machining spindle 22 is inserted and held rotatably in the through-hole 12. The device is provided with a transmitting means for phase angle difference and rotation ratio that consists of five shafts and four universal joints alternately connected to rotate the eccentric sleeve 16. An output shaft 66 of the transmitting means for the phase angle difference and rotation ratio performs acceleration and deceleration of two periods using the universal joints. By setting the number of rotation of the output shaft 66 to N-times of the number of rotation of the machining spindle 22, 2N times plus or minus phase shift is generated to the eccentric sleeve 16. The distance between a position of a turning tool 24 of the machining spindle 22 and the rotational center A-A of the eccentric sleeve 16 changes 2N times during one turn of the eccentric sleeve 16 so that the polygonal shape is formed into an added cross sectional boring hole.
