The present invention relates to a TNFR2-IL21R fusion protein acting as a dual antagonist for TNF-a and IL-21. More specifically, a composition containing the dual antagonist (TNFR2-IL21R fusion protein) for TNF-a and IL-21 which are known as the main cause of autoimmune arthritis, one of autoimmune diseases, more remarkably reduces the secretion of inflammatory cytokine, increases the secretion of anti-inflammatory cytokine, and suppresses the differentiation of osteoclast compared with the case using TNFR2-Fc and IL21R-Fc single proteins. In addition, the composition treats arthritis of collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) mice and increases the expression of Treg cells, an immunosuppressive cell, thereby treating autoimmune arthritis. Therefore, the TNFR2-IL21R fusion protein according to the present invention can be used as an active ingredient of a composition for preventing and treating autoimmune diseases. |
