Pharmaceutical combination preparation comprises 12-imidazolyl-1-dodecanol or its salt and cisplatin or a platinum complex analog in a weight ratio of 1 part by weight to 5-400 parts by weight. ACTIVITY : Cytostatic; Nephrotropic; CNS-Gen.; Antidote; Hepatotropic. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Cytochrome P450 2E1 (CYP2E1) inhibitor. The CYP2E1 inhibiting activity of the preparation was tested in microsomes of rat using para-nitrophenol hydroxylation assay. The results showed that imidazolyl-dodecanol exhibited an IC 50value of 727.06 nM.
