Disclosed is an electronic device with protrusions whereby said protrusions comprising dot units can be rotated with a comparatively light load and said electronic device can be used as a dot information display device that is easily stabilized when the protrusions are in the extended position. For each dot unit (4), an opening (5) is molded in the housing and a protrusion (10) is provided inside the opening (5). The protrusion (10) is pivotally supported by a support shaft (12). The protrusion is pivoted along the read direction (M) of an information unit by a polymer actuator (20) and is stabilized by reaching the regulation section (5a) in the extended position. The protrusion (10) is easily stabilized in the extended position when a finger is moved along the read direction (M) and touches said protrusion (10).
