METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ENABLING PREPAID USER HOTLINING

A method dedicated to a prepaid user for enabling prepaid user hotlining is provided in the present invention, in which it is enabled to apply for quota for the prepaid user before the charging restart is required for the prepaid user due to getting into a hotlining state. A device for enabling prepaid user hotlining is also provided in the present invention, which comprises a prepayment determination unit, a quota application unit and a hotlining state management unit. The hotlining state management unit is used for, when learnig the user is about to quit the hotlining procedure, informing the quota application unit of such situation. The prepayment determination unit is used for determining whether the user is a prepaid user, and informing the quota application unit of the determination result. The quota application unit is used for applying for quota for the user when the user is determined to be a prepaid user by the prepayment determination unit. By the method and device of the present invention, it is ensured that after the prepaid user quits the hotlining procedure, the user will not be forced to quit the network in the situation of there being still communication balance, thus improving the degree of user satisfaction.
