<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical tone signal generating apparatus whose processing speed is improved. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 19a supplies a parameter regarding a musical tone signal to a tone source circuit 17 including a plurality of tone generating channels CH0, CH1...CH127 for generating musical tone signals. The parameter includes channel information for designating one or more tone generating channels in the plurality of tone generating channels, and musical tone information for specifying each musical tone signal which is generated in the sound generating channel designated by the channel information. A tone source circuit 17 includes tone generation reservation circuit 17b which makes the designated tone generating channels start generation of the musical tone signals specified by the musical tone information, respectively, when the tonal volume level of the musical tone signal generated by the tone generating channel designated by the channel information is a predetermined tonal level or below. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
