<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working vehicle capable of increasing fuel economy and inhibiting a deterioration in operability, and a method for controlling the working vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: In this working vehicle, a control section compares a ratio between a working machine lifting force and a vehicle towing force with a predetermined threshold.
