<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a high-quality seamless belt which contains a thermoplastic resin as a main component at low costs. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes processes of: locating a first cylinder 4 and a second cylinder 7 having inner diameters different in an axial direction so that a gap is formed between opposing ends of the first cylinder 4 and the second cylinder 7, and extruding molten body from an annular die 2 into the gap; blocking communication of gas in a cylinder between the first cylinder 4 and the second cylinder 7 by holding the molten body extruded into the gap between the opposing ends of the first and second cylinders 4 and 7; forming a cylindrical layer 1 of the molten body by relatively moving the first and second cylinders 4 and 7 and the annular die 2 in the axial direction in the molten body holding state and applying the molten body on the inner wall of the first cylinder 4; filling a space formed by at least the cylindrical layer 1 and the inner wall of the second cylinder 7 with gas; bonding the cylindrical layer 1 to the inner wall of the first cylinder 4 by pressure of the gas; and solidifying the cylindrical layer 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
