<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system for controlling a cooling fan according to a temperature inside a casing even when a battery is mounted on an option board. <P>SOLUTION: A system board is installed inside the casing, and includes a heat generation device and a control part for the system board. The option board is connected to the system board inside the casing, and includes the battery and a control board for the option board. A temperature sensor measures the temperature inside the casing, and outputs it as a measurement temperature. The control part for the option board outputs a first specification control signal when the battery is not charged, and outputs a second specification control signal when the battery is charged. The control part for the system board starts the cooling fan at a first rotation speed according to the measurement temperature when the first specification control signal is supplied, and starts the cooling fan at a second rotation speed larger than the first rotation speed according to the measurement temperature when the second specification control signal is supplied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
