摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging control system capable of enhancing fuel economy. <P>SOLUTION: The charging control system includes an engine; a storage device capable of being charged by electric power generated by motive power of the engine; and an electric motor for consuming the electric power from the storage device to output the motive power, and is provided on a vehicle capable of performing predetermined traveling that the engine is stopped and traveling is performed by the motive power outputted by the electric motor. When it is presumed that an amount of electric power capable of being outputted by the storage device at the predetermined travellable section is lacked relative to an amount of electric power required for the storage device during when traveling is performed at the predetermined travelable section at the predetermined traveling (S4-N) relative to the predetermined travelable section, i.e., a section where it is presumed that the predetermined traveling on a traveling road at a front side can be performed (S2-Y), the charging control system increases a target value of a charging amount of the storage device until it reaches to the predetermined travelable section such that the outputtable amount of the electric power can satisfy the required amount of the electric power, and charges the storage device by the electric power generated by the motive power of the engine so as to attain the target value (S5). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
