<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitive touch panel simultaneously detecting a change of stray capacitance of a large number of detection electrodes, and detecting input operation to a detection electrode from an elapsed time until a potential of the detection electrode reaches a threshold potential even if the change of the stray capacitance is minute. <P>SOLUTION: A CR time constant circuit is formed by the stray capacity of the detection electrode and resistance of the detection electrode, and the stray capacitance of the detection electrode is performed with charge or discharge control after the lapse of a suspension period of a prescribed time ratio. The stray capacitance minutely increasing by the input operation wherein approach to the detection electrode is performed, can be detected by expanding the elapsed time until the potential of the detection electrode reaches the threshold potential to detect it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
