PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organization method of image data capable of enhancing the satisfaction of the possessor of the image data, or the like. SOLUTION: In the image data organization method for assigning a plurality of pieces of image data input from an input section and stored in a storage section to a base unit to be constituted of one or more pieces of image data in an image data group to be constituted by providing a plurality of base units, an operation section executes steps of: setting an image evaluation value of each piece of image data by image analysis; grouping the plurality of pieces of image data into a plurality of groups; determining the evaluation value of one group by the image evaluation value of the image data belonging to the one group; assigning the number of base units to be determined according to the evaluation value of the group to each of the groups; and assigning the image data belonging to each group to each of the base units assigned to the group.
