PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means of reducing inter-carrier interference so as to use all frequencies even nearby a cell edge. SOLUTION: When an interference signal which causes inter-carrier interference is detected, a mobile station 14 reports that to a base station 12-1 in communication (S100). The base station 12-1 sequentially requests neighboring base stations 12-2, 12-3, ..., to temporarily stop radio transmission until the mobile station 14 reports that the electric power of the interference signal is reduced (S102, S110). Once the electric power of the detected interference signal is reduced, the mobile station 14 reports a reduction amount thereof to the base station 12-1 (S116). At this time, the base station 12-1 estimates that the base station 12-3 requested to temporarily stop the radio transmission right before S116 is the transmitting source of the interference signal detected by the mobile station 14.
