PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input/output device that a user can stably hold during an input operation to a touch panel display. SOLUTION: In the input/output device 10, rib members 36 and 38 having inner sides 46 and 48 for holding a user's arm 100 in between project from a back side of the touch panel display 12, and when the input/output device 10 is placed on a surface 8, the movable rib member 38 abuts the surface 8 to fix a screen inclination angleθg of an image display screen 20. The rib members 36 and 38 restrain the user's arm 100 holding the input/output device 10 relative to the input/output device 10, so that the user can put the arm 100 over to the back side of the touch panel display 12 to stably hold the input/output device 10 during an input operation to the touch panel display 12.
