PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly insert a hooking piece of a shelf bracket into a hooking hole of a shelf post, and to securely support the shelf bracket to the shelf post by firmly hooking the hooking piece into the hooking hole while the shelf bracket is in a hooked state. SOLUTION: The shelf bracket to be hooked to a hooking hole 26 at any selected stage of the shelf post 20 having hooking holes 26 in a plurality of stages includes the hooking piece 34 integrally formed in a bracket body 32. The hooking piece 34 is inserted into the hooking hole 26 and hooked to the hooking hole 26. The hooking piece has an outer surface 34IS inclined in such a way as to be gradually widened from an initial engagement position toward the following engagement positions to be sequentially engaged with an inner wall surface 26S on either side of the hooking hole 26. The hooking piece 34 is resiliently brought into contact by pressure with the inner wall 26S of the hooking hole 26 of the shelf post 20 and held to the inner wall by the inclined outer surface 34IS.
