This invention presents a method and apparatus for disconnection or reconnection of external device(s) utilizing a computer keyboard. A computer keyboard including a special purpose key for disconnecting or reconnecting external device(s) to or from a computer system is presented. A user can have a simple and easy access to various predetermined functionalities for disconnection or reconnection of external device(s), by just pressing the special purpose key on a keyboard. The special purpose key can be conveniently positioned near to arrow keys to minimize distance of hand movement. |
