METHOD FOR PRODUCING N-OXYCARBONYL-(2S)-OXYCARBONYL-(5S)-PHOSPHONYLPYRROLIDINE DERIVATIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for preferentially producing an N-oxycarbonyl-(2S)-oxycarbonyl-(5S)-phosphonylpyrrolidine derivative.

SOLUTION: An N-oxycarbonyl-α-alkoxy-L-proline derivative represented by formula (I) (wherein R1is a 1-5C alkyl group; R3is a 1-5C alkyl group, a phenyl group or a benzyl group; and R4is a methyl group or an ethyl group) is caused to react with a phosphorous acid ester derivative represented by formula (II) (wherein R2is a 1-5C alkyl group, a phenyl group or a benzyl group) in the presence of a Lewis acid.
