<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that includes both an image forming means having a direct transfer system and an image forming means having an indirect transfer system, wherein the deterioration in productivity caused due to a color-matching control is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In a full-color image forming apparatus of the direct and indirect transfer systems, upon achievement of a condition in which full-color printing is expected to be performed, the color-matching control is carried out simultaneously even during black-and-white printing. Such a color-matching control is carried out because the direct transfer system and the indirect transfer system are individually performed, so that color-matching of colors transferred through the indirect transfer system can be carried out even during the black-and-white printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
