<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for control of a vehicle that improves fuel consumption, in the vehicle capable of controlling fuel cut. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes an engine and an automatic transmission for transferring a power which the engine outputs to drive wheels of the vehicle. When a condition of performing the fuel cut which includes a condition that an engine speed exceeds a predetermined speed and a condition of deaccelerating is met, the system controls the fuel cut such that supplying of fuel to the engine is stopped. In addition, when a predetermined running environment which is estimated to be deaccelerated is present in front of the vehicle (S3-Y), the system controls a gear ratio of the automatic transmission before the deacceleration so that the speed exceeding the predetermined speed can be maintained (S4 and S5). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
