PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid-filled vibration control device and the liquid-filled vibration control device, sufficiently exhibiting desired vibration damping characteristics by suppressing deformation of a limiting flow passage when fitting a rigid flow passage member, in the liquid-filled vibration control device formed by fitting the rigid flow passage member around the outer peripheral surface of an inner cylinder. SOLUTION: The inner peripheral surface of the rigid flow passage member 16 is formed into a tapered shape gradually radially enlarged toward one end of the inner cylinder 2 at least an end portion on one end side of the inner cylinder 2 in the posture of fitting around the inner cylinder 2. When the rigid flow passage member 16 is fitted, fitting of the rigid flow passage member 16 around the inner cylinder 2 is guided at the enlarged diameter portion of the inner peripheral surface of the rigid flow passage member 16, and also the rigid flow passage member 16 is positioned by being allowed to abut on the stepped portion 2m of the flat surface shape of the inner cylinder 2 while being frictionally engaged with the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 2 at the portion of the rigid flow passage member 16 on the side of the other end of the inner cylinder 2. After an appropriate time, a fitting cylindrical body 5 is fitted from the side of the other end of the inner cylinder 2 and is frictionally engaged with the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 2.
