<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CO oxidation catalyst demonstrating sufficiently high CO oxidation performance from a low temperature of 200°C or so, sufficiently suppressing lowering of the CO oxidation performance of the catalyst even if exposed to a high temperature of 800°C or so, and achieving a sufficiently high CO conversion rate from a sufficiently low temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The CO oxidation catalyst includes a carrier consisting of a composite metal oxide containing ceria, zirconia and alumina, with the content of ceria in the composite metal oxide of 50 mass% or more, and copper oxide carried on the carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
