The disclosed walking shoes detect when the wearer of the shoes is about to trip or fall and prompts the wearer to move in a manner to prevent falling. A microprocessor (14) is activated on the basis of a detection signal sent by a pressure sensor (12) that detects pressure on the sole of the shoe, detects the lifting speed and/or height of the foot on the basis of a detection signal sent by an acceleration sensor (13), and if the lifting speed and/or height of the foot is determined to be lower than a standard value, the microprocessor triggers a stimulator (11) that stimulates the sole of the foot, causing the wearer of the shoe to reflexively lift up the foot and thus avoid tripping. |
