<p>The arrangement has a conditioning unit and a cleaning device that are arranged adjacent to a transport unit e.g. developer roll (20) and a transfer roll (30). A liquid developer layer at a liquid developer is affected such that adhesion of a toner at the transport unit is loosened, and cohesion between the toner particles in the developer layer is reduced. The cleaning device cleans the developer layer of the transport unit. The conditioning unit comprises a chamber (27) that is filled with a conditioning liquid (KM), where an electrode (28) is arranged in the chamber.</p>
