The method involves outputting one of a result independent of bulk density and porosity of a fluidized bed. An actual time variable solid amount in a measuring volume is detected by a differential pressure measurement using differential pressure sensors. The product humidity is measured by the humidity sensor, and differential pressure is measured by the differential pressure sensor. Signals of the humidity and the pressure sensors are measured for determining density-compensated humidity to be combined.
