<p>The disclosed identification device is equipped with: a classification determining unit, which classifies input biological data into two or more classes, which have multiple sets of registered biological data classified and registered therein, on the basis of the characteristics of the input biological data; a calculation unit, which calculates the degree of similarity between the input biological data and each of the sets of registered biological data that is registered in each of the two or more classes that the input biological data has been classified into; and an identification unit, which identifies, on the basis of degree of similarity to the input biological data, the user data for the user's input biological data from amongst the registered biological data that have been registered in each of the two or more classes that the input biological data was classified into.</p> |
