<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the head cover of an engine furnished with a breather chamber to be compactified. <P>SOLUTION: The breather chamber layout structure of engine has such a configuration that the breather chamber 54 to make air-liquid separation of a blowby gas containing oil component fed from a crank case is provided in the upper part of the head cover 31 covering the top 30A of a cylinder head 30, wherein the cylinder head 30 is fastened to a cylinder block 29 using a stud bolt 45 and a nut 46, wherein the cylinder head stud bolt 45 is protruded from the top 30A of the cylinder head 30, and the breather chamber 54 is positioned approximately identical to the forefront protruding part 45A of the cylinder head stud bolt 45 from the cylinder head top 30A in a direction of cylinder axis O. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
