<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article which prevents oozing of liquid and is excellent in transpiration of sweat. <P>SOLUTION: The absorptive article 1 includes: a hydrophilic front surface sheet 2; a rear surface sheet 3 including a waterproof and moisture-permeable film 31; and an absorber 4 disposed between both of the sheets. At a waist part WA positioned on the extended portion of the absorber 4 in the longitudinal direction of an absorptive article, an emboss part 8 where the front surface sheet 2 and the waterproof and moisture-permeable film 31 are integrated and the front surface sheet 2 is waterproofed is formed.
