<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical element, with which exfoliation of a film due to cutting and damage of the film due to chips can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: A base member 1 with the shape of an optical surface transferred to a surface 6 is fixed on a processing table 10. The base member 1 is cut at prescribed intervals to manufacture a plurality of optical elements in a state that the base member is fixed onto the processing table 10. After cutting, in a state that the plurality of optical elements are fixed to the processing table, the plurality of optical elements are installed in a film-forming device, and a film is formed on the surface to which the shape of the optical surface has been transferred. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
