<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for C-C coupling reactions suitable for industrial applications which does not need a strict water prohibition and is problem-free in the C-C coupling reaction using the conventional silver nitrate or silver fluoride. <P>SOLUTION: A catalyst composition for C-C coupling reactions includes a palladium complex catalyst and a lithium base. In the palladium complex catalyst, a valency of a palladium atom is zero-valent or bivalent, and the ligand coordinating on the palladium atom is preferably at least one kind of compound or an atom selected from the group consisting of a phosphine compound, an aryl compound, a nitrile compound, and a carbonyl compound a halogen atom. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
