<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the dielectric breakdown of a TFT and an interlayer insulating film due to static electricity by suppressing an area to be small and at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: In a display area and a control area formed more on the inner side than a terminal 200, at parts where a video signal line DL or wiring G1, G2 formed in the same layer as the video signal line and a scanning line GL or the wiring formed in the same layer as the scanning line cross, an interlayer insulating film and an a-Si film are interposed therebetween to perform insulation. In the meantime, between a static electricity preventing line 230 and a ground line 210 formed more on the outer side than the terminal 200, only an interlayer insulating film is formed. Thus, when static electricity is induced, the dielectric breakdown is generated in an area on the outer side of the terminal 200, and the display area and the control area are protected from the static electricity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
