<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector enabling reduction in shock to the body of a wearer when the wearer takes a tumble, and reduction in uncomfortable feeling given to the wearer when worn for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: The protector 1 has an almost circular shape in the plan view, and is disposed at a position covering the vicinity of the femoral neck part 21 from a lateral side of the wearer. The protector has a single layer structure of a polymer foaming body, has protrusion on its outer surface 10, is curved in a thickness direction so as to form its inside surface 20 into a recess, and has an amount of displacement in a thickness direction of 3-20 mm when a power of 20N is loaded on the center part of the outside surface 10 while being placed on a flat surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
