<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate which can be easily produced and be made thin, a display device, and a production method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The polarizing plate comprises a polarizing film. The polarizing plate further comprises: a first adhesive layer which is laminated on one of main surfaces of the polarizing film and is formed of a cured adhesive; and a first protective layer which is laminated on a main surface of the first adhesion layer on the side opposite to the polarizing film and has easy peelability at least in a main surface thereof on the side of the first adhesion layer.
