<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium conveying device capable of suppressing disturbance of an image formed on a recording medium while reducing power for conveying the recording medium, and also provide an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: This medium conveying device includes a pair of first conveying rotational members for conveying, by holding, a sheet-like recording medium on the front surface of which an image is formed, guide members which guide the recording medium to the pair of first conveying rotational members along a curved path by the contact of the recording medium therewith and the slidable movement thereof, which are guided while facing an image-formed surface inward of the path, and which are disposed on both inner and outer sides of the path, respectively, a pair of second conveying rotational members which conveys, by holding, the recording medium to the path and the rotational driving of which is terminated before the recording medium departs from the second conveying rotational members after the recording medium reaches the first conveying rotational members, and a rotary body which is disposed on the inside of the path parallel to the guide member and which is rotated due to the contact of the recording medium with the peripheral surface thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
