<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the unevenness of speed of a squeeze roller and achieve long life for parts. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: an image development part 5Y of developing a latent image of photoreceptor 2Y by an image development roller 15Y carrying a liquid image developer; a squeeze roller 24Y of squeezing an image developed on the photoreceptor 2Y by abutting with the photoreceptor 2Y; a squeeze part 6Y that includes a squeeze roller cleaning blade 25Y that swings at an abutting position with the squeeze roller 24Y during image forming operation, swings at a separating position from the squeeze roller 24Y during no image forming operation, and removes the liquid image developer in the squeeze roller 24Y at the abutting position; and a control part of setting the squeeze roller cleaning blade 25Y at the abutting position during image forming operation and setting the same at the separating position during no image forming operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
