<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set a region of interest set to prior three-dimensional data to newly collected three-dimensional image data. <P>SOLUTION: When collecting time-series three-dimensional image data by moving an ultrasonic probe 21 along the body surface of a subject 150, a position coordinate processing section 4 carries out, on the basis of positional information of the ultrasonic probe 21, conversion processing on position coordinates of a region of interest (Rm) set by an input section 7 with respect to an examination object part of three-dimensional image data (Im) collected at a prior time (tm) preceding a present time (to) when a region of interest is set automatically, and calculates position coordinates of three-dimensional image data (Io) collected at the present time (to). A display section 6 then superimposes the region of interest (Rm) on the position coordinates of the three-dimensional image data (Io) supplied from an image data generating section 3 and automatically sets the region of interest (Rm) with respect to the three-dimensional image data (Io). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
