<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle controller capable of preventing a driver from receiving a sense of incongruity when the driver performs a braking operation during vehicle speed control. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle controller for controlling a vehicle speed of its own vehicle includes: a braking operation detecting means for detecting a braking operation of a driver of the own vehicle; and a control switching means for, when the driver performs the braking operation of the own vehicle during the vehicle speed control, prohibiting release of the vehicle speed control in the case where stepping force in the braking operation is not more than a threshold value, switching to the vehicle speed control in the braking operation different from a normal vehicle speed control; and switching from the vehicle speed control in the braking operation to the normal vehicle speed control in the case where the driver of the own vehicle ends the braking operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
