PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce CEC communication load by CEC command data of a coordinate notification of sync equipment, in a communication system consisting of the sync equipment and source equipment that are connected using HDMI. SOLUTION: A sync equipment 110 thins out CEC command data of a coordinate notification for sequentially notifying a source equipment 120 for a constant time section in accordance to the performance of the source equipment 120 or a function to be controlled. By this means, the communication load on a communication path by the CEC command data of a touch panel coordinate notification from the sync equipment 110 can be reduced without giving influence to an operation of the source equipment 120.
