PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing technology capable of restoring the color of an image correctly. SOLUTION: A pixel extraction unit extracts first and second pixels subjected to color conversion from an input image. A hue estimation unit calculates a first similarity of color of the first pixel and the color data group of all hues stored in a color table for every color data group, calculates a second similarity of color of the second pixel and the color data group of all hues stored in the color table for every color data group, and then estimates the hue of the first pixel based on the combinations thereof. A conversion table acquisition unit acquires a lookup table used for color conversion from a conversion table based on the hue estimated in the hue estimation unit. One of lookup tables is selected.
