PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for setting a support spacer for continuous reinforced concrete pavement, which economically suppresses distortion or deformation of a reinforcing bar material for concrete reinforcement during operation and also suppresses cracking or propagation thereof to a paved road or the like. SOLUTION: In the method for setting a lengthy support spacer 11 used for continuous reinforced concrete pavement, the spacer supporting a reinforcing bar material 10 for concrete reinforcement which is formed into a mesh-shape by crossing a plurality of vertical reinforcing bars 16 arranged at intervals with a plurality of horizontal reinforcing bars 17 arranged at intervals at a preset height, a plurality of such support spacers 11 are arranged so as to intersect with the vertical reinforcing bars 16 within a range where they are not orthogonal to the vertical reinforcing bars 16.
