PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for crystallizing an amorphous polyhydroxy carboxylic acid resin in a simple manner without fusing. SOLUTION: The amorphous polyhydroxy carboxylic acid resin is crystallized in a simple manner without causing problems such as the fusion of particles each other and the breakage and softening of the particles by stirring the amorphous polyhydroxy carboxylic acid in a water stream of 60-95°C at equal to or above minimum fluidization velocity and equal to or below final settling velocity, and crystallizing the amorphous polyhydroxy carboxylic acid resin. The polymer pellet crystallized by the method can be treated without fusion in subsequent solid phase polymerization operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
