PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scale insects-controlling agent having an excellent controlling effect against scale insects and originated from a microorganism. SOLUTION: The scale insects-controlling agent includes the cells of Paecilomyces tenuipes T1 strain (accession number: FERM BP-7861) as an active ingredient.
