PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation circuit with a pulse generation circuit for oscillation start, the oscillation circuit having shortened start time, having low power consumption at the start, and oscillating an oscillator having a comparatively large crystal impedance. SOLUTION: The oscillation circuit 1 with the pulse generation circuit for oscillation start includes an oscillation circuit 2, which has a circuit in which an inverter IC 1 and an oscillator Y1 are connected in series; and the pulse generation circuit 3 for oscillation start that has a three-state inverter IC 11, and a signal generation part which is connected to an input terminal and a control terminal of the three-state inverter IC 11, and generates a first signal to be transmitted to the input terminal and a second signal to be transmitted to the control terminal and having the time to reach the threshold level of the three-state inverter slower than that of the first signal, and that outputs a pulse for oscillation start from the three-state inverter IC 11.
