PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an impact tool to effectively receive a load by a housing when it is pressed to a material to be tightened. SOLUTION: The impact tool has a motor; a housing 6 for storing the motor; a second planetary carrier assembly 51 in which a hammer is arranged; and an anvil 61 driven in a rotating direction by the hammer. A load receiving part is arranged for receiving a load toward a rear side applied to the second planetary carrier assembly 51 through the anvil 61. The load receiving part is configured of an annular part at the outer circumferential side of the second planetary carrier assembly 51, a thrust bearing 45, and a ring gear 40.
