PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elliminate the temperature irregularity during heating of the liquid in a washing tank to uniformly boil the liquid in the washing tank on subsequent reduced pressure to thereby certainly achieve non-irregular washing or rinsing. SOLUTION: This washing apparatus is constituted so as to achieve the washing or rinsing of an article 2 to be washed by reducing the pressure in the washing tank 3 to boil the liquid after the liquid in the washing tank 3, in which the article 2 to be washed is immersed, is heated to a set temperature and equipped with a liquid fluidizing means for fluidizing the liquid during the heating of the liquid in the washing tank 3.
