PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when a new drawing is prepared, it takes a lot of time for a user to search for a desired similar drawing created in the past, on the basis of his or her imperfect memory. SOLUTION: The drawing editing device has: an input device; a storage device; an attribute generation part; a drawing generation part; and a similar drawing retrieval part. The attribute generation part generates attribute information in which component information on components is associated with identification information to be determined by an operation by an operation of the input device for the components. The drawing generation part generates drawings by the operation of the input device, associates the drawings with the attribute information to be stored in the storage device.
