PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidity indicator easily adjusting a detected humidity to a desired level under a condition of a relative humidity of 30-50%RH. SOLUTION: Coating, which is composed of an electron donating coloration compound, an acidic compound solid at a normal temperature, a deliquescent substance, porous particles with a BET specific surface area of 50-400 m<SP>2</SP>/g and an aqueous resin emulsion, is attached to a carrier and dried under heating to provide the humidity indicator.
