<p>The aim of the present invention is to provide a novel bur for alveolar bone, which can be used with existing handpieces and is suitable for finishing the outer shape of alveolar bone. For this purpose, a bur for alveolar bone according to the present invention comprises: a body in which cutting edges are defined; and a connecting portion, which is to be clamped and fixed in a dental handpiece and connected to the body so as to extend in a lengthwise direction of the body, and which has a coupling slot defined in the extended end thereof, wherein the body comprises: a semicircular leading edge; an opposite end directly connected to the connecting portion; and a curved portion between the leading edge and the opposite end, the smallest diameter thereof being in the central portion thereof, wherein the diameter increases toward the leading edge and the opposite end. The cutting edges defined in the body include lengthwise edges formed in lengthwise recesses running lengthwise along the body.</p> |
